Why are there no prices on your website or why do we not give
prices over the phone?
Due to the many options we have available, we present our
membership plans in person. We have a variety of membership options
and we are known for being very affordable. We typically show
the club by appointment, which gives you the opportunity to see the
club for yourself, ask all pertinent questions, and allows us to
outline our entire membership portfolio relevant to your needs. Our
goal is to tailor a membership to meet both your fitness and your
financial needs. We feel that in all fairness to you and us,
one needs to visit our facility and review the membership programs
in person in order to make a fair assessment. We do offer a
free, no
obligation pass to use the club which will make your trip
worthwhile even if we're not the right club for you.
How do I set up a corporate membership for my employer?
World Health has a variety of corporate plans available.
You can get more information about corporate memberships by
contacting the General Manager of any World Health location or by
visiting /memberships/member-plans/corporate-membership.aspx.
What is the $35 Annual Facility Improvement Fee and can I opt out
of it?
The Annual Facility Improvement Fee pays for ongoing
maintenance and upgrades to the equipment at all facilities. We
have regularly scheduled preventative maintenance days at each of
our facilities as a well as on on-line ticketing system that can
inform head office of the need to dispatch a technician for urgent
issues. We believe that investing in maintenance reduces overall
costs in the long-run, while enhancing member experience.
Can I buy out the membership and receive gift cards for the
remaining term?
Please phone Member Services at
1-866-278-4131 to speak with one of our
representatives.
Can I transfer my membership to another person?
Please phone Member Services at
1-866-278-4131 to speak with one of our
representatives.
Is my membership valid at all locations?
It depends on what kind of membership you enrolled in. We
have several levels of membership with varying access privileges.
Generally speaking, each level of membership dues provides enhanced
levels of service, amenities, and clubs of access. For example, our
Downtown Executive and Sport Clubs offer privileges not typically
available at other clubs. Towel service, personal TV's, tote &
laundry, etc. are some examples of enhanced services. Members
wishing to access these clubs will be required to upgrade their
memberships and pay the additional fees in order to access the
premium service plans. Members are allowed 2 free visits to those
clubs in order to assess their suitability, prior to upgrading
their dues.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership access?
You can visit any World Health facility to inquire about
the costs of upgrading or downgrading your membership access to
find the best fit for you. The clubs will have all of the
information on what options are available and how to proceed with
your requested change in access.
